Questions, answered

Straight answers, no fine print. More on the FAQ page or contact us.

Is the sample builder on this page using AI?

No. It fills a clear structure with the details you type, in your browser, so you can see how a letter comes together. Inside your account, drafts are written by AI from your saved resume and the job listing, and you edit them.

Will JobPilot send the letter for me?

No. You copy, download or attach the draft and send it yourself.

How long should a cover letter be?

Most hiring managers skim. Three or four short paragraphs, roughly 150 to 300 words, is a sensible target unless the employer asks for more.

Do I need a cover letter at all?

Check the listing. If it asks for one, write one. If it is optional, a short, specific letter can help you stand out, but a generic one will not.

Can the AI invent achievements?

It is instructed to use only details from your resume and notes, and it labels its text as a draft for your review. Always read it before sending.
