For freshers and first jobs
Questions for people with little or no work experience.
1. You have no experience. Why should we consider you?
How to answer: Point to projects, internships, college work, volunteering and the speed at which you learn. Give one concrete example of each skill.
2. Tell me about your best project.
How to answer: Explain the problem, what you personally built or decided, what went wrong and what you learned. Be ready for follow-up questions on any detail.
3. Why did you choose this course or field?
How to answer: Give an honest, specific reason, such as a subject or experience that interested you, and how it led you here.
4. What did you learn from your internship or college work?
How to answer: Choose one practical skill and one lesson about working with others. Avoid a list of tools with no context.
5. Are you willing to relocate or work in shifts?
How to answer: Answer honestly and calmly. If you have limits, say so politely and ask about the role instead of promising something you cannot keep.
6. What are you looking for in your first employer?
How to answer: Mention learning, guidance and real responsibility. Avoid leading with salary and holidays.
